Mission San Jose High School Senior Felix Lin's Research Paper Accepted at IEEE International conference on Marine Artificial Intelligence and Law
FREMONT, CA -- Dedicated to marine conservation, Mission San Jose high school senior Felix Lin feels deeply honored by the acceptance of her research paper titled, “WAL-SEA: Development of a Homebuilt, Multifunctional Remotely Operated Vehicle for the Study of the Near-Shore Ocean Ecosystems” at the IEEE International Conference on Marine Artificial Intelligence and Law (IEEE ICMAIL 2023). Lin has also received an invitation to present her research during the conference, which takes place in Taipei, Taiwan on September 3rd and 4th. About Felix, Faye Lin — a high school senior who excels in various areas. Not only is she an experienced cold-water scuba diver with certifications in Advanced Open Water and Underwater Photography, but she is also an award recipient in international science competitions. Beyond her academic achievements, Felix is the founder of AquaMeridian US Chapter, dedicated to ocean conservation and education. She’s also a self-taught inline skater who not only skates to school every day and joins community group skates but also volunteers to ensure the safety of community skate events and teach newcomers how to skate. Alongside her passion for singing, writing, and daily life sketching, she hold a deep affection for 80-90's movies and music.
