I started exploring various art forms in middle school and discovered the beauty of line art, a medium that enabled me to draw freely in my sketchbook and carry it everywhere.

Art and Life in my Sketchbook

Ever since I was young, I loved drawing. Whether it was a cartoon on a piece of paper or a watercolor painting in art class, I loved it and thus continued my art journey throughout high school. In freshman year, I improved my skills in traditional art, finally finding my style of going straight into a piece with a thick-tipped Micron pen. This was when I realized my affinity for still life art, and I continue improving my style and skills throughout the years. In sophomore year, I took digital imaging, which was a course that taught us how to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create our own illustrations. I have a very active imagination, and I was able to let it flow freely through the various interesting projects in this course. Now in junior year, I'm learning how to sculpt with clay, an unexpectedly arduous task that I nonetheless enjoy thoroughly.
